Where is SSIS?

    Question

  • I haven't used SSIS for a while.  Actually, the last time I used it was with VS 2008 and SQL Server 2008.  Now, I have VS 2010 Ultimate and SQL Server 2010 Developer Edition.  I'm trying to get back into learning SSIS, but I can't seem to find SSIS.  Here's a screen shot of my VS start page.

This does NOT seem like the right way to access SSIS.  What am I doing wrong?

Knowledge is the only thing that I can give you, and still retain, and we are both better off for it.

  • Choose "Integration Services Project" on your screen shoot. In that project you will be able to create SSIS packages and deploy them.
