    We get the following error on TMG and the firewall service gets stuck and we need to restart the firewall service again . Please advice

    The Web Proxy filter failed to bind its socket to 10.111.0.222 port 443. This may have been caused by another service that is already using the same port or by a network adapter that is not functional. To resolve this issue, restart the Microsoft Firewall service. The error code specified in the data area of the event properties indicates the cause of the failure.

    Hi,

    Thank you for the post.

    This issue may caused if IIS was running and was bound to port 443 for https. So please did netstat –ano for TCP port 443 to check if the IIS or other service was running and bound. If that is true, please disable the IIS services and restarted TMG firewall  services.
