Got Stuck in Lab Setup

Need some help here.
I am working on Creating LAB for Direct Access 2012 things I have done so far are.
On VMware Workstattion 9 installed DC , DA server ,WIndows 7 client .
DC is configured with DNS no other entry added in DNS do I need to ?,DHCP scopes created.
DA server is also configured .
VMware setup is like on every VM network LAN selected is custom specific VMNET1 for all 3 VM's.
DA server is not communicating with DC not Win 7 client.
Please help here with thins I missed.

A few points:
All machines need to be able to register in DNS.
Clients externally need to be able to register in DNS for manage-out to work.
You need "something" that separates internal lan from external in order to force the client to connect to DA. Not really sure what "DA server is not communicating with DC not Win 7 client. " means. When all machines are on the internal network, they should be able to communicate.
