UAG Licence

Hi
I'm looking for some advice regarding UAG licencing.
I have one UAG server. I have 1600 users who want to access the UAG portal both internally on a company network and at home on their personal devices.
I know that I will need 1 UAG server licence and 1600 user CALS.
Question: Do I need an External Connector licence given that the 1600 users are already covered by a CAL.
Thanks
Andrew

The External Connector license is for non-employees. For your own employees you have the named user CALs like you mentioned, and their CAL covers them from wherever they connect. EC is for a situation like a company publishing a SharePoint site that they are allowing public or some form of non-employee access to.
