What's the simplest authentication (in terms of setup/config) to use with UAG to enable SSO with a sharepoint 2010 extranet?

Hi,
I have a requirement to deploy a sharepoint 2010 enterprise extranet, intranet and internet platform where external users login using UAG.
The requirement is for single sign on so that only once do they login - to UAG...After clicking the published sharepoint site link from within UAG sharepoint opens with no extra sign ons.
What is the simplest authentication to use for external users? AD? ADLS? SQL?
All I want to know is how do external users access a sharepoint extranet if they login once and once only via UAG.
If there are multiple ways to do this which is the least complex to implement?
Thanks.

Hi Amig@. For me there is no method simpler than other, the only answer is "use the same authentication that is used in SharePoint". That means, if Sharepoint is using AD you have to use AD in UAG. If you want to use SQL in UAG you will have to configure SharePoint to use SQL. If you have the freedom to choose the method, I guess AD is the fastest way to do it. SQL is not an out-of-the-box repository for UAG.

Thanks for your answer - yes I can choose the method and I agree with you that AD sounds like the best way to go.
