DA client unable to reach Internal server

Unanswered DA client unable to reach Internal server

    Client establish connection with DA server successfully but it is unable to reach that one internal server .

    When try to ping that internal server it replies back with ipv4 address instead of v6 ?

    Traffic for that server is over internet and not through tunnel , to have connection with da client do we need to change anything from NRPT of DA server ?

    Hi

    What a strange behavior. This occurs for only one internal server when your DirectAccess clients is connected to Internet? Technically speacking, this would mean that this server is reachable from Internet in IPv4 and name resolution process did not recognize an Internal namespace. Are you sure your server is registred in the internal DNS zone?

    Yeah it is happening with only one server. Yes server is reachable from internal DNS as it is reachable with IPV4 through our internal DNS.

    Looks like dns suffix issue ?

    It's not normal. Did you add this server as an exception in NRPT? Does this server have a public name on Internet?

    No server is not under Exception in NRPT,yes server have public IP assigned.

    So, it's an external reachable server with a valid IPv4 public address that is referenced in the internal DNS with this public address? There is no need for DirectAccess, this host is reachable from Internet.

    Even if network trafic to this particular server goes throught DirectAccess tunnels, how would you route that trafic from the DA Server internal Network Card? Send it back to Internet?
