Autodiscover and OA fail when UAG publishing

I have UAG 2010 SP1 in place and OWA and Activesync are working fine. Cannot get Autodiscover and OA to work. Enabled UPN format via this http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee809087.aspx and still no luck.
Testing Autodicover via wwhttps://www.testexchangeconnectivity.com/
gets me this error:
ExRCA is attempting to retrieve an XML Autodiscover response from URL https://autodiscover.domain.com/AutoDiscover/AutoDiscover.xml for user sean.mcneill@office365evangelist.com. ExRCA failed to obtain an Autodiscover XML response. 
Additional Details A redirect response was received, but only HTTPS redirect URLs are supported in response to a POST request. The URL that was received was /InternalSite/InternalError.asp?site_name=exchangetrunk&secure=1&error_code=13. Sean McNeill Microsoft Gold Partner http://staterainfrastructure.blogspot.com/

Tuesday, February 21, 2012 9:53 PMI may have solved this. Looking at other posts with similar issues I found one recommending to disable WindowsAuth on the the Web Service Virtual Directory. So what I did was disabled WindowsAuth for the Autodiscover Virtual Directory via the Powershell set-autodiscovervirtualdirectory cmdlet. Now Autodiscover and OA work thru UAG.
