I have rolled out FSFE accross 4 exchange servers which are all now showing the above error and so cannot update the signature files.

I have looked at previous threads which have not resolved the issue but was also wondering does FSFE need an internet connection to validate the agreement number which is entered in the validation box. Our system is a secure network without a direct internet connection so this would not be able to happen. If this is so how should I activate the product.

We have been doing the sig updates using an airgap machine which does have internet connection.

    Hi,

look under the menu Help->Register Forefront. There you have to type in your Contract number.

    Hi Christian

Thanks for your response. I have done what you said previously and entered an expiration date as well but still doesnt seem to work.

    Hi,

that sounds strange. What values do you see, when you enter the registration again, are these the values you have entered?

    Greetings

    Hi Andy,

stupid question, is the time on the server right?

What happens if you enter the contract number again and increase the month of the expiration date by one?

    Greetings

Checked the time and it is right

When I change the expiration date it does change to the new date in the About forefront window.

One thing I was also wondering. Next to the Licensed Components: in the About Forefront window, should there be something listed in there like licensed engines etc.

    cheers

    Hi Andy,

unlinke in Antitgen you hav all engines licensed in FSE, but you can use only 4 at a time.

Have you tried to reapply SP2 for FSE from the licensing poral?

    Greetings

    Hi all,
