We are running forefront 10.1 without any hotfixes on a Exchange 2007 SP1 Rollup 6

When I try to open the GUI it allows me to select the server and then seems to take forever to open the interface.  Stopping me from accessing the quarantined emails my users are asking for.

    Any ideas?

Normally this is due to the size of the incidents or quarantine database(s). If these grow large on a system (1.5GB or more), then they can slow down the administrator to such a point that it appears that it never opens. In fact what is normally occurring is that while these databases are being loaded they are also being changed which then forces them to be reloaded. I would check the size of the incident.mdb and quarantine.mdb files and if they are large then you will have to implement a purge period within the appropriate section of the administrator MMC. please note, the database will only shrink in size when the database maintenence is performed, usually overnight, so the next day you should see the effects of these changes.

    I hope this helps,
