Will Forefront Security work with pop connector

  which Exchange version do you have?
  
  If the pop3 connector will send the emails via SMTP to Exchange it will work to scan the emails in the transport scan. If the pop3 connector is injecting the email somewhere in the smtp recieve process it could be that it's not possible that FSE can scan the message. What definitely will work is that emails are scanned by the realtime scanjob which occours on the information store.
