Any of you Forefront/Exchange 2007 gurus have suggestions/tips on upgrading to Exchange 2007 SP2? Anything special we need to do with the latest version of Forefront before we upgrade Exchange to SP2??? Should we manually disconnect FSE ... or is this all accounted for?

Thanks afor any and all advice!

. . . . . . Too late. Just finished the upgrade..... on-line documents only suggest stopping Forefront serivices and that is what we did. After 45 minutes install was FLAWLESS and all is working well including FSE.

I wish all upgrades were this easy.

ps. anyone know if the new version of 08.02.0176.002 is what we are looking to have with Exchange SP2???? That is waht I now show.

We've had a minor wrinkle with the latest pre-release version of Forefront 2010: after an SP2 upgrade Forefront continues to do its job but Exchange config settings (sender filter lists etc) can't be updated. It complains that not all Forefront services are running )they are and to check that powershell is installed (it is).

To be expected with pre-release products - I will check to see if a Forefront repair makes any difference and report back.

EDIT: A reinstall didn't work. I'd expect an updated build shortly - obviously the Exchange Management Console changes in SP2 have created a slight incompatibility with the Forefront Console but you can workaround this by working in the Exchange console directly.
