I seem to remember there was a log for the CLM configuration wizard? I am running the wizard and when I click Configure I get an error "Path not found". It appears to be unable to bind to the directory service (AD I guess)
Your log file by default is located at %programfiles%\Microsoft Forefront Identity Management\2010\Certificate Management\config.log when using the FIM version of CLM (a similar path is used when using the ILM version - I think it was %ProgramFiles%\Microsoft\CLM\Config.log)
