Hello,
I have a weird question. First some background; we are using an ActiveX printing add on in many of our web and Infopath forms. In IE 7 clicking the browser print button would open the print dialog the same as ctrl + P.
With IE8 when the browser print button is clicked the print job goes straight to the default printer. This makes my question; what is the default behavior of the IE8 (and later) browser print button?

Hi,
It depends where your 'Print' button is placed on the Command bar...
If it is in a visible position, clicking the Print button will use the default 'Print' command....
If it is positioned off the command bar (viz: you have to first click the command bar chevron)... see screen shot below... clicking it will do noting... hover over the button to display the drop-down menu options.
