ie9 Search engines

Friday, April 06, 2012 1:04 AMWhenever I go to Bing, Google, etc and type in the items I want to search for and hit search, it pulls me automatically to a variety of random sites versus the site or information I am looking for. I can't find anything useful on the internet (maybe that a bigger problem :-) ) but it won't take me to the information I am looking for. now any search is basically useless. why? Why oh why?

I would run a scan to verify that you do not have some sort of malware or virus.

See: "How to Reset Internet Explorer settings".

Then...
1. Please download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner tool (freeware).
2. Reboot your PC.
3. Please download and update Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Free
4. Reboot Windows in Safe Mode and run a Full Scan with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.
5. Reboot and Test.
If still no joy...
