    Dear all,

OS: windows server 2008 r2 with RDS installed for user access.

I've been fighting this since this morning and so far it's been kicking my (***), so I really need help kick it back :)

I have prompt for file download disabled and file download enabled in the trusted sites zone. I added the site I am trying to download the file from, which internal site and I went through the settings for the trusted sites and pretty much enabled / allowed everything there, but I am still geting this security Popup and I don't know what else to do.

any help is very much appreciated.

    Hi,

In Internet Explorer 8 and 7, when a dialog box is automatically blocked, the Information Bar appears at the top of your window, stating:

"To help protect your security, Internet Explorer blocked this site from downloading files to your computer. Click here for more options...."

You can then click the Information Bar to download the blocked content.

If you do not want this feature, you can update to IE 9 version. “Automatic prompting for file download” was removed in IE 9.

This was not the problem but rather was the plug-in of adobe. I am not sure what was wrong with it, but I removed it and installed again and not all working.

    Thanks for your reply Tracy.
