    Hi,

I suspect this is an Internet Explorer 9 RC and gadgets compatibility issue. Please try disabling the gadgets one by one to find the incompatible items and see if you can get the updated version of them which are compatible with Internet Explorer 9 RC.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks.

How do you disable gadgets when the control panel won't load?  I am having the same problem with IE9 RC x64 on Win 7 x64.  The information on the calendar disappeared with the last beta and now gadgets load just long enough for the OS to tell me they are having a problem and shutting down.  Is there a registry entry to edit?

    Hi,

If you have multiple gadgets on the desktop, just leave one every time with closing others and check them one by one in this way. Then see if you can find the one which is compatible with Internet Explorer 9 RC.

Regarding the issue of the calendar gadget, please check if there is an updated version.

As I stated in my original post, after I install IE9RC, and reboot computer, even before I open IE9RC (after reboot), that "nasty" dialog box (same one when IE9 keeps crashing), appears stating that "gadgets are not working", etc;  I CAN'T EVEN ACCESS DESKTOP GADGET GALLERY and try your suggestions.....back to IE8...and Chrome....
