i get an error with ie 9..How can I delete and re-install is 9?

I have 2 problems..
1st...I cannot use explorer 9 ... I get an error saying windows is shutting the program.i would like to reinstall it. Plese give me an addy to restall ie 9.
2nd...I do not have a search box viewable when I click start.

To uninstall IE9, go to Control Panel, Programs, Programs and Features then click on "View Installed Updates"
Then under the list of updates for Windows 7, select "Windows Internet Explorer 9" and then click Uninstall.
As for the Search box, search is integrated with the address field - just start typing :-)

The IE 9 crash issue can be caused by several reasons. If it does not work after you reinstall it, please troubleshoot in Clean Boot Mode.
Perform a clean startup to determine whether background programs are interfering with your game or program
