    will IE 10 be silently upgraded to the users using windows 7?

    I'm starting a html 5 project for my company... Most of my users are using windows 7 with IE 9....

    I think if IE 10 will be autoupdated to windows 7, I will change my project strategy a little...

    Depends on how the windows update settings are set,

    If people receive Recommended/ Optional updates the same as Important ones than Yes,

    If people have wised up over the last two years as most people have,

    They only receive Important updates that download and install.

    Excluding Recommended/ Optional updates from being automatically downloaded and installed, is only common sense, unless you are one of the few that loves surprises on wednesday mornings :)
