    Hi

I have recently bought a laptop with windows 8 on it. I open personal edition of one product (server on my machine) as client side on IE 10 but is does not support. It supports IE 6,7,8

I would like to get IE 8 installed on my windows 8 so that i can use the product. Please let me know how can get this installed.

    Hi

you can't.... but you can fool your personal edition of one product (whatever you mean by that!) into thinking you are using IE8 (or IE7, 6 or 9) by either

Adding your site domain to the IE Compatibility View List (Tools>Compatibility View Settings)

    or

use the Developer tool to toggle the Browser Mode to the version of IE you require....

If you are a web site developer please post questions about html, css and scripting for web site developers to the IE Web Development forum...

however... I am not sure if there are VI's of earlier windows versions for Win8.
