How to read FIM "audit trail"

Hi,
I would like to read history of the objects.
Is there anything other than reading Request resources and analyzing Target/TargetObjectType attributes?
It will be probably pretty slow especially using XPath.
Best regards

Yes - have a look at FIM 2010 R2 Reporting.Steve Kradel, Zetetic LLC SMS OTP for FIM | Salesforce MA for FIM

Steve,
Thank you for the answer but for now I have to stick with FIM 2010 not R2.
And even for R2 we will probably choose to ETL the data to SAP HANA and create reports there.
FIM database because of its generic design is pretty slow. And as we are expecting a huge load, SAP HANA is our choice.
But I need to extract the information somehow.

Craig Martin has created some extensions for SQL Reporting Services for FIM
https://fimdpe.codeplex.com/
and Powershell https://psdpe.codeplex.com/. You can use this as a start.
Or use other way to push data to SQL Reporting services and process it there as we did in our FIM reporting solution:
