Unanswered SSPR Error after setting new password

    Hi,

    We are  trying to reset the password,After Successful registeration in Password Reset Registeration Form ,

    After posting the QA gate question challenges and we get the screen for new pasword. Entered the new password and click on reset button, getting the error "An error occoured when trying to reset your password. Please contact to helpdesk for assistance",  but when we try to login with the old password it will throw an error "username/password is incorrect",but if we try to login with new password we can login successfully.

    We are able to Login with the new password but getting the above error while changing the password .Please let us know how to remove this error

    Have you checked in the event viewer to see if there is any more information about the error? (There is a FIM-specific application log in the event viewer that may have information as well as the regular application log.)

    In Event viewer i am getting "PWReset Activity's MIIS Password Set call failed with call-failure:0x800706BE",and also sometimes I get "Visual Studio Just-In Time Debugger" Pop window providing 2 options 'Yes,debug miisserver.exe' and 'No,Cancel Debugging'

    Please help me to rectify this error

    Do you have any custom rules extensions? Have you tried re-entering the ADMA credentials?

    It's been a while since I had this error, but I think it was related to the permissions the provisioning account had in ADMA.

    Sorry I don't have anything specific to offer.
