    Hi,

Will any of the built-in FIM 2010 R2 MA's allow me to export data to an XML file in the appropriate XML format?

    Thank you,

    SK

You could have a look at Henrik's File Connector - http://fimfileconnector.codeplex.com/

I tend not to use the built-in MA's for generating specific file formats as I want to be in control. Though I haven't really looked into I think you pretty bound to specific formats with the built-in MA's, but take a look on TechNet for the documentation.

Also, I dont know which format you're referring to.

Nope, there is no generic-XML MA. Closest to one is DSML but well ... it is not XML as you think about it probably. User Henrik's File MA or Soren's Powershell MA - both should fit the tasks.
