    No, you can install BHOLD suite on non-R2 environment.

    Thank you Naohiro for your reply. I have one more question,

    Does FIM-R2 bring any new enhancement to FIM-BHOLD features?

    Are there any such feature of BHOLD which we cannot utilize in a non R2 FIM environment, which can be used in R2 environment?

    There are no new feature or enhancement in BHOLD with R2, but you can use new connectivity to data sources if you use R2.

    So now I recommend you to use R2.
