    Hey All,

i have a problem that is very strange.

I have a set of users that is based on company name as membership. I have a sync rule for AD in the portal that is marked as inbound and outbound.

I have a workflow for initial user creation that creates a password, emails a user and enrols the user in the ad AD inbound-outbound sync rule.

A strange thing happens in the portal, as soon as I create a user , an email is sent to the address withe the user creation information. But then when i run the sync rules in the sync engine to drop the users into the AD and bring back the objectSID, the email triggers again.

I might have missed something in my understanding of how this works, is there anyone that has the same problem that can give me some info ?

    Rob

In the portal, search for the request and click on it. It show show up what MPR/Workflow applies to the request. See if that gives u better clue

My initial user creation workflow is being set for the created users, but there is no clue as to why the email will be sent twice.

i am saying if u click on the request (by looking at the request history), it will tell u what workflows are run (including the number of times)
