QuestionFIM CA installation error - The wizard was interrupted

    Hello,

    i have followed the installation guide http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee534901(WS.10).aspx in point Installing Forefront Identity Manager - Certificate Management i run into a error message in step 10.

    Error Message:
    Installation Error: The wizard was interrupted before the Forefront Identity Manager Certificate Management could be completely installed.
    Your system has not been modifiered. To complete the installation process at another time, please run setup again.

    I have tried it more than once and run into this messages everytime.

    What shale i do?

    I have used a windows 2008 R2 Server as the QS-DC and windows 2008 R2 Server for the FIM CM, should i try windows  2008 Server insted of R2?

    u might be missing IIS6 compatibility feature in the IIS role

    you will also need "Anonymous Auth" if you want to enable kiosk mode

    That is correct, and some may even want Basic Authentication (especially when trying to troubleshoot Kerberos issues <G>)

    This won't make setup fail, but it does cause other challenges if IIS7 Kernel Mode Authentication is enabled.  I've had to disable it when using CM in the past.
