Hello,
Our company
made a decision to sunset our proprietary software support for clients that are outside of Microsoft mainstream cycle. I need to confirm that XP and Vista Remote Desktop Connections are supported by Microsoft
(I do believe the earliest RDC version in XP is 6.1.7600).For example, let’s say a client has 2000 workstations / laptops. All end-users access their applications via Remote Desktop Connection (Let’s say 10 servers
in a leveraged environment).. The client plans oin upgrading thier servers from 2003 to Server 2012... Would the XP machines running RDC 6.1.7600 be supported
in a 2012 environment? Will MS plan on developing a package?I am going to assume not.. since XP is out of mainstream
Thank You!
