my system crashed and i had to reinstall my upgrade from home basic to vista ultimate and to activate now it says i have 30 days to activate windows

Sunday, March 14, 2010 8:13 PMoriginally it was a upgrade from home basic to ultimate and i didnt create a backup and system crashed and i had to perform a clean installation with my upgrade dvd and it says this disc wasnt meant for a clean installtion and i have 30 days to activate windows

Sunday, March 14, 2010 11:03 PM You cannot activate an Upgrade Windows Vista license if you did not have a qualifying Windows operating system installed. You will need to reinstall your original Windows Vista Home Basic operating system, then upgrade to Windows Vista Ultimate.
