Microsoft NetMeeting is a feature of previous versions of Windows and is not available in any version of Windows Vista. Instead, consider using Windows Meeting Space to collaborate with other people, share documents, and make presentations.

All well and good--- but my needs include communications with folks not using Vista. Netmeeting works fine on all previous Windows including 64-bit XP. Works fine on 32-bit Vista. Where can we get bits for 64-bit Vista?

Consider using Microsoft Office Live Meeting

I think what people are looking for is an alternative until companies move to new solutions from Microsoft for communications. I'm also on the same boat. I got a new 64 bit PC with Vista and for professional reasons I need to use netmeeting (can't use anything else as we use corporate directories to access each other conf calls). Companies with 10000+ employees do not change IT systems overnight. There is a real need for help for professionals from Microsoft and it will be much appreciated if Microsoft can do something about it here. My only alternative is to go back to XP... which I'd rather not do (I do like Vista :-)

    Regards.

Had no problem running Netmeeting on my Windows Vista Business 64 (bit) Service Pack 2 computer.

Click on the Link below, and download the NM30.EXE.  Once downloaded right click on NM30.EXE, Choose properties, Compatibility, and under compatibility mode. "Choose Run this program in comataibility mode for Windows NT 4.0 (Service Pack 5)
