I am running Vista and have recently started to have a problem with my mousepointer - every couple of seconds, the hourglass appears as it was ferociously busy. No virus scan, deletion of temporary files etc has helped. I do not seem to have any problems as a result of the hourglass but am concerned with what is happening with the operating system. Anyone have a solution?
Have you fixed this ? This can occur when media center is scanning for files in the background such as when connect a flash drive, SD card etc. It's something I noticed a while back, couldn't figure out what was happening at first.
