    hi

     

    My application consitst of Managed and Unmanged C++. (Visual studio 2005)

    When i give Rebuild all i get the following error

     

    mt.exe : general error c101008d: Failed to write the updated manifest to the resource of file ".\debug\generators.dll". The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.

     

    how recover this error.

    I believe this error is being caused by one (or more) of the recent updates to the Office 2007 suite. Since installing these updates I have been plagued by this, and similar, problems. I have already posted a bug report to the Microsoft Connect site, which you can see here: https://connect.microsoft.com/VisualStudio/feedback/ViewFeedback.aspx?FeedbackID=357628

    Sorry I can't offer more help (other than perhaps trying removing any Office2007 updates you might have installed recently...!)

    Hey

    Look just put an exception to the mt.exe file in your antivirus, and it will work fine
