    i have 11 important updates that i install correctly but keep coming back

    Security Update for Windows Vista (KB2690533)
    Security Update for Windows Vista (KB2688338)
    Security Update for Windows Vista (KB2676562)
    Security Update for Windows Vista (KB2660649)
    Security Update for Windows Vista (KB2659262)
    Security Update for Windows Vista (KB2658846)
    Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 SP2 on Windows Vista SP2 and Windows Server 2008 SP2 x86 (KB2656409)
    Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 SP2 on Windows Vista SP2 and Windows Server 2008 SP2 x86 (KB2604105)
    Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 SP2 on Windows Vista SP2 and Windows Server 2008 SP2 x86 (KB2604094)

    here is a list of them ive been trying to install them but they all keep coming back 5 minutes later ive tried countless times tries fixing the updater with that software that resets the update system but with no luck, many thanks mark

    ive already looked there and followed steps to sort this problem out but with no luck. so i dont know why my post has been moved there

    Most of the time, if the updates were correctly installed (are you sure about it?) you can simply ignore them if they're repeatedly proposed.
    Anyway, there could be a problem in the Windows Update catalog: download and run the System Update Readiness Tool from http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/What-is-the-System-Update-Readiness-Tool; you can read more about this tool in the Microsoft Knowledge Base article 947821.
