Problems with the Microsoft LX 3000 Lifechat while recording!

I keep getting a humming noise very faint in some sections of the recordings like a very very faint whale noise in the breaks of the audio and then its fine again
any help guys?

Could be noise in your PSU leaking through. What do you have for a PSU in your rig?
