For VISTA Ultimate, I have an Internet Explorer add-on, browser extension named RESEARCH.  It does not have a publisher listed.

It wont delete so I've disabled it.

Anyone know what is this animal's function and source ?   Also, how to remove it if needed.

    Thanks.

I second that request, Interner explorer was crashing left, right, and centre, until I disabled this add-on.  now everything seems peaceful again.  Perhaps it was researching how angry it could make the user...

Using (as much as it's possible) Vista Ultimate as well.

    Cheers

I was just looking at "RESEARCH". It bothers me when there is not a lot of information given with a file or application. It appears to have come from Microsoft, However it I can't get to the file where it is located or installed I will not use it if I can't control it.

There are a list of numbers that remind me of registry settings, Even if I could get to it with some control through the reg edit I might think about using it.
