I Lost My Favorites Folder

This was dumb of me, but oh well, now I need help!
I have always stored my favorites folder on a different drive. This weekend I installed Vista and right clicked on my Favorites folder in my C:\Users\Dan directory and moved it to the D: drive where it has always been a direct subfolder. Well, apparently in Vista I should have moved it to D:\Favorites, because when I clicked on my favorites tab in IE7, I got the whole drive listing. And the link pointing to it in the Dan folder on the desktop is gone and replaced with a link to the drive.
So I moved it again, and nothing happened, except now when I click on Favorites, nothing shows up at all. I click on Organize Favorites and nothing happens. I moved my real Favorites folder back to the Users directory on the C drive and still nothing.
I even tried to import them. Even if I try to import one at a time, nothing.
So how do I reassociate the Favorites folder (currently in the C:\Users\Dan folder) with IE7?
Thanks in advance,
Dan

Restore Favorites folder location in folder properties.
1. Find Favorites folder, right click it, choose "Properties".
2. Choose "Location" option.
3. Choose "Restore Default".
