QuestionSP1 Install fails with unknown error 0x800F080D

    Tried installing SP1 via Microsoft Update and by downloading the five language version.  Both ways, install fails with error code 0x800F080D.

     

    Any suggestions, comments, help much appreciated.

    I am having the same problem. I have a Dell XPS M1330 and everytime that I have tried to install SP2 for Vista I get the error code for: 0x800f080d
    I have tried installing and restarting over 20+ times and I would really appreciate some help with this. It is very frustrating.
