    Since 30 - 06 - 09 I have have tried to update my PC  but everytime I try I get an Error code  "WindowsUpdate 800F0A07"
    I looked everywhere for this but nothing has turned up.   It also say a more recent update is installed, so why is the PC still trying to update and install this??

    please help

    Hi jon.daniels

    Please do the following steps to fix the problem

    Select Start, and right-click on Windows Update and choose Delete from the context menu, Select Start > Settings and click Taskbar & Start Menu, Select the Start Menu Programs tab
    Click Add > Browse, Locate the wupdmgr.exe file from your \Windows directory, select it, and click Open. If you are unable to locate the file, you may need to reinstall it.
    For instructions Click Next Select the Start Menu folder then click Next
    Change the name of the shortcut from wupdmgr.exe to Windows Update
    Click Finish .Now try selecting Start and then clicking Windows Update.
    If you are still facing problem then mail or chat at suzanee99@live.com so that i can do
    some advance troubleshooting

    I have tried to follow these instructions, running Vista 64, and when I opened the Taskbar & Start Menu > Star Menu tab there is no Add to click on
