SP3 for Window xp

Thursday, August 09, 2012 6:36 PMHi every one.. I have downloaded and installed SP3 for Window XP but it doesn't show on my system. I mean software requiring SP3 still don't install on my system. Does any one know what to do?

Can we verify that the SP3 installed.
Start > Run > winver.exe
Can you give me the name of the app, it may be that the app requires Sp3 + something else as well, can't say for sure without knowing.
