    As the title states so is the issue.  I have attempted to repair through these methods:

    1. researched @ technet and found that a hotfix must be applied (KB942288.)

    2. application of hotfix didn't solve the issue - rebooted after HF application and tried each update separately and then together - failed.

    If anyone else has mined the 'net for a fix for this and been successful, I would be grateful to find out what you did!  Thanks

    Dennis - I was under the impression that sendspace does not require recipient to sign up. It seems that's not the case. I had to signup in order to download your log. Please use dropbox.com to upload your log. DarbyShaw on the other thread shared log files via dropbox and we can download them simply without signup. Thanks. - Simon

    Hi Simon... due to time constraints I am not able to spend any more time trying to fix this issue.  I have begun the process to do a bare-metal install and start from scratch.  I wanted to thank you, Soumitra and Nithya for your help as well as all the help that was provided under the thread we started with.
