    Hello

    I need some help

    I have an error when I start remote desktop connection: "the remote desktop services activex control. make sure mstscax.dll is in the path"

    Hi Joseph,
    that file is found under the following two locations :

    > c:\windows\system32

    > c:\windows\servicePackFiles\i386

    Can you check if it is there or not ?

    You can copy paste that file from another computer to the pc where the issue is happening.

    If that file disappears again, it means eiither your Antivirus is deleting it or maybe a malicious program...
