The Windows Media Player changes the played files. Write tags to the file, which cause that the size and the date of the files has changed. It very disturbing and causes problem at synchronization for example.
If we enable to add the files to the Media Library, WMP write MediaClassPrimaryID, MediaClassSecondaryID tags to the file. It can be stop, if we disable to add the file to the library.
But there is another. If we play a file from start to end, WMP writes PeakValue and AverageLevel values for the Auto Volume Leveling, instead of that this feature is set off. I can not disable this.
Where can I disable that WMP write theses data to the files? There is an option where I can disabale that the player modify the files?
