    I have looked in Add/Remove Programs and Program Files, but there is nothing listed for either.

    When I carry out a search for DriverView, a number of items are listed, but when I try to delete all....Cannot delete file. Cannot read from the source file or disk.

    These two programs are not installed, hence there are no entries in Add or Remove Programs.

    The only entries that need deleting are the .exe files, which will be found in the location you downloaded them to.

    Thank you for helping / explaining.

    My problem is that I need to get back into Autoruns and DriverView, but can't find a way to do so (no icons anywhere). When I try to download DriverView again I am asked if I want to replace the original....if I click no nothing happens, if I click yes nothing opens or changes.

    Perform a search on your hard disk for "autoruns" and for "driverview": when you'll have locted the files, delete them and download the most recent versions from their web sites if you need to upgrade them.

    I will try to do the same with Autoruns....I need to undo an action I made.

    I successfully deleted Autoruns through Search and also this time DriverView....I clicked on each individual item (instead of highlighting them all) then delete....and with that I didn't receive the: Cannot delete file. Cannot read from the source file or disk message.

    So now I can download them again....thanks. :)
