I have shared Videos to be accessed from LAN,
I want my LAN users just copy them, not to play as it keeps my server busy.I wish that they just copy it.. I have said them many times to copy , but they directly play which causes server going slow...Is there any policy exists in windows xp sp3? Please, Thank you.* D *

open and play can not be distinguished
if the LAN is choking on the load, there is always 10GBASE-T to adopt with 10x more speed and 10x more costly
