Collecting performance metrics from Cluster NodesI am running MAP3.2 collecting performance metrics against a group of servers.
It is not working for 2 Servers which are 2003 cluster nodes. Is this the problem?
Events in the log are as follows:

<InventoryEngine 12:31:12> PerfCollector.PerformanceFailCB Entered for target: server1.domain.net

<InventoryEngine 12:31:49> PerfCollector.PerformanceFailCB Entered for target: server2.domain.net

There are no other problem log entries.

Thanks

Norman

© 2009 Microsoft Corporation. They are on the same domain as the MAP server. These are the physical node names. Any ideas of what services/permissions to check?

Thanks again

Norman
Wed, 03 Jun 2009 18:26:43 Z2009-06-03T18:26:43Zhttp://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/map/thread/3817934f-2e3c-41d0-ab0f-c795eaf4b0f4#7d8aa1c7-a47d-4971-baee-794c035d8949http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/map/thread/3817934f-2e3c-41d0-ab0f-c795eaf4b0f4#7d8aa1c7-a47d-4971-baee-794c035d8949Jay Saulshttp://social.technet.microsoft.com/Profile/en-US/?user=Jay%20SaulsCollecting performance metrics from Cluster NodesThe remote registry service needs to be started on the target machines. Let me know if that doesn't take care of it & we'll investigate further with a repro on our side.

Thanks,
JayThu, 04 Jun 2009 05:06:01 Z2009-06-04T05:06:01Z
