My laptop starts up fine, and everything seems to be working, but shortly after, whatever program I'm running freezes up, and eventually stops responding. No error message pops up saying &quot;[Program name] Has stopped responding.&quot; Once the program stops responding, all of the other programs I'm running will eventually stop working as well, and eventually so does windows explorer. The programs will not close after they lock up, and going into the start menu and trying to restart the computer doesn't work, so the only option I have is to hard reset. This gets VERY frusterating if I'm watching a movie or running a game, because there's nothing I can do but shut everything down completely.<br/> <br/>  I have an HP Compaq Presario C700 with 3GB of Ram, and a 2.00Ghz Processor with Vista.<br/>© 2009 Microsoft Corporation.
