I have been unable to access Internet Explorer on my computer. I have a Dell and I have  Windows Vista Home Edition. I have tried system restore, I have contacted MSN and they had me try different processes and nothing worked. I was told I could unintall Windows Explorere 8 but I don't know if this would resolve my problem. I have tried so many different items. If I restore the computer to factory settings will this eliminate any virus that may have been picked up by someone visiting a "questionable" website".
