Hi,
I am trying to install MAPS 7.0 (most recent release) on my laptop and it states that I do not meet the prerequisites for Operating System. When I click on it, it states
"The Microsoft Assessment and Planning Toolkit does not run on the current operating system. For more information about operating system requirements, please refer to....XXX"
I don't get it as I'm using Win 7 Ent, version 6.1.7600 Build 7600. I have also re-tried automatic updates and i already have the updated version of Win 7 (included the latest service packs) .
Help anyone? Thanks in advance.

If you have version 6.1.7600 then you don't have Service Pack 1 installed. SP1's version number is 6.1.7601.17514
MAP needs SP 1 for Win7/2008 R2 and SP 2 for Vista/2008
