    Trying to install x64 bit version of MAP on 2008Ent 64x server but keep getting a unknown 0x84b40000 error from the install wizard while installing the SQL Express edition. Any ideas? Looks like the MS SQL 2005 and 2008 config tools did install?

    Were you attempting to install version 3.2 or the v4 Beta? 

    Can you send us a couple of log files for review?  The MAP Installer log is located in the %temp% directory and is called:  MAPSA Installer Logs yyyy-mm-dd_zzzzz.

    The SQL Installer log file is located at %programfiles%\Microsoft SQL Server\100\Setup Bootstrap\Log\{date_time}.

    You can post them here or send them to mapsbeta@microsoft.com .  We will review and get back to you.
