Does anyone know if MAP 8.0 can collect performace of servers that are based in workgroup and in another subnet?

If MAP can inventory the machine, then we know that MAP can talk to it and the only thing left is firewall access. MAP uses remote registry to collect the performance counters from machines, so that has to be allowed through the machine's firewall, other than that, there isn't anything that should prevent the collection of the performance data. The MAP Survival Guide on TechNet Wiki has an article that tells you about preparing your environment to use the remote registry service. http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/1640.microsoft-assessment-and-planning-toolkit.aspx
