MAP 7.0 errors completing inventory

I am using MAP v7.0 to run hardware and software inventory scans on Windows and Linux/Solaris servers and receive errors not found in any of the blogs or documentation. The specific error is "Failed- Inventory not completed". I cant think of a more generic non descriptive error, the log does not seem to point to anything.
This error is generated when running the inventory scans on Linux/Solaris servers via SSH.
I have the firewall open SSH port 22 and the credentials provided for the scan are root or equal to root, any information or solution for the error?
