I am trying to search for Thin Clients which equipped with Windows CE\ Windows Embedded which cannot be found by WMI.
These kind of OSs our searchable with SNMP and in the earlier versions of MAP it was possible to find with.
my question is divided to 2:
1.is there any way to make the inventory with SNMP (or another way for the unWMI OSs)?
2. is there is no way, are there some angels which did not remove their old MAP versions and can upload it somewhere?
אם תשובתי סייע בפתרון לשאלה, אנא הצבע כמועיל, תודה. Best Regards, Ori Husyt - אורי הוסיט

MAP will not be able to inventory Windows CE, but Windows Embedded is a possibility. Windows Embedded starts as a full version of Windows XP Pro and the license allows the OEM to remove parts of it. A lot of them don't remove WMI, but often they don't bother changing the WMI Operating System class so it still reports as Windows XP Professional.
